Garden Vows

For all Friends of the Garden

1. I pledge to ensure the Punt Hill Community Garden is a welcoming and safe space.

2. I will not use chemicals in the garden. Biodiversity includes weeds and pests.

3. I will visit during opening hours – 7am-8pm from October-March and 7am-6pm in April-September – in accordance with the site Licence.

4. I appreciate the need for security and will lock the gate when I enter and exit. I will not give the gate code to others.

5. I understand there may be more people than plots. If I don’t care for my plot or pay my fees, it will pass to someone else according to the Punt Hill Community Garden procedures.

6. If I am involved in a dispute, I promise to resolve it through calm discussion. If the issue remains unresolved, I will accept the decision of the Punt Hill Community Garden Committee at their discretion.

7. I understand my participation at Punt Hill Community Garden is at my own risk. The Punt Hill Community Garden Committee is not liable for any injury to me, or to my invited family and friends, nor for the loss of any of my possessions.

8. I will not bring alcohol onsite, in accordance with the site Licence.

9. I will not bring animals onsite, in accordance with the site Licence.

10. I will contribute at least one hour per month to general site maintenance.
